Here's a story on how strange is life and its changes and it happened not long ago.
On a higher life plane where the Ancients remain and sit on their asses and glow,
Lived a guy with a heart so remarkably sweet,
He wanted to help; he thought that would be neat,
He knew helping others would make him complete,
And he'd concentrate hard and appear.
He'd appear to his buddies along the way,
I must say they found his appearin' quite cheerin' for they'd always ask him to stay.
Then one day....

Then a yomping up the hill came that great American, Jack O'Neill,
This silver haired colonel, this hero for real,
Caused to pause and check out the guy,
"Hey kid, what's the deal?"

"I used to be something, all glowy and tough,
And I'd help out my buddies and show off my stuff,
Then they hauled me back down in a manner quite rough,
And the sacked me and dumped me back here in the buff.
And if that's not enough, now all my friends laugh at me 'cos they think I look ridiculous, sulky and hot."

"Hot, hot? Well, what's wrong with hot? I'm thinking they'd rather have got hot than not!
Doesn't matter how sexy. Well that just ain't right. Be it sexy or gorgeous or plain out of sight.
Now sometimes you're glowy and others you're real.
When you find that you're real, well just see how you feel.
You've still got that body and man is it sweet!
Haul you ass over here and I'LL make you complete.
Now as for the sulking, you can do more,
You can reach new heights, in fact you could score!
You just pucker up right, and stick you lips out,
And you'll find that you're stuck in what's called 'a pout'
Pout, pouting a pout,
Pout and I'm soaring right into the sky,
And I think I'd be grateful if you'd give it a try
First pucker up, stick your lips out....

So every Season, come what may, the Ancients come back and haul Danny away,
Then they'd annoy him and dump him all naked and bare,
Dan learned to live with it, he didn't care,
He'd just pout, pout, give Jack a pout,
Now in this world of ins and outs...
...so nice to know there are Jack O'Neill's about.
