Info: Kind of autobiographical, using recent events in my life, twisted very little to fit the series.

You two had been together for so long. My best friend and my ex, you were so perfect together. Then you left him in the middle of the night for an off world mission and didn't come back. He waited almost six months for you and then moved on.

Then you can back and he didn't want you anymore. You needed me to be there for you, a friend who knew how you felt. I had promised him nothing would happen, that you and I were just friends. And we were, until that night. Cheap booze and sexual tension got the better of us.

It was a mistake, one that happened more than once. I put an end to it after less than a week. You said you would never tell. Said it would be our little secret until I was ready to tell anyone. Until I was ready to tell him what I had done. I told him this would never happen, that I had given up on you when we had broken up, and then this happened.

Now because of you I have lost my best friend. I know they say it takes two to tango, but I trusted you. I was going to tell him, and maybe he wouldn't have shunned me as he is now.

But none of that matters now. I'm leaving, going back to Earth and leaving the program. I have to get out of this place with all the stares and whispers. Away from all the rumors and reminders of what has happened. Go back home, and forget all about the two of you and start over.

I hope you are happy, because I never will be. Not with these memories that will never leave me alone.
