Summary: Carter dares Daniel to ask Jack on a Date, with not so great consequences - can be set anywhere in the series after Cassie arrives
The Dare
"Oh come on Daniel, take a dare" Sam Carter's voice held laughter in it as she and Daniel played Truth or Dare to prevent boredom from setting in during their enforced 'down time'. "No, I asked for a Truth and i'm sticking with truth" Daniel said, no way was he letting Sam rope him into a dare, she'd probably make him flash in the Gate Room or something equally embarrassing.
"OK, truth. Are you in love with Colonel O'Neill?" Sam asked her tone even as thought she'd just asked him what time it was instead of 'that' question. "I...What...I" Daniel stuttered "I can't answer that" he said. "Truth or Dare Daniel you chose truth now answer my question or accept a dare in its place" Sam said "fine Dare me then" anything had to be better than answering 'that' question.
"I DARE you to ask the Colonel on a date, dinner and a movie or whatever but it has to be a date, date not just hanging out, and he has to know its a date" Sam said quite pleased with herself, Janet, Teal'c and herself had been trying to get these two to admit their feelings for months and she may just have found the prefect way. "I what Sam you can't be serious, I can't do that" Daniel protested. "If you don't take the dare you know the 'punishment' she smiled at him with a cat just got the cream look on her face.
"I...fine...I...can't you please do a different dare" he begged, his blue eyes pleading with an adorable puppy look on his face, she almost gave in but "No that Dare or..." she let the threat linger, he knew the rules "I guess I have no choice then" Daniel said his face falling looking for all the world like his life was about to end. Which Sam well knew could happen if they were wrong about the Colonel's feelings but Sam felt sure they were right, they had to be.
later that day - Jack O'Neill's office
"Hey Danny, come on in" Jack O'Neill said when Daniel's head popped around his door. "I...Hi Jack" Daniel said his voice strained. "Hey you OK you look a little" he paused "not OK" Jack said nothing else came to mind to describe his friend obvious unhappiness, and evident worry. "I...I was playing Truth or Dare with Sam and well she kinda made a dare and now I have to do it" Daniel said his voice low and barely audible. "Well what ever it is can't be that bad, if you want I could tell her the dare is of and to leave you alone" Jack offered "you know pull a little rank" he smiled at Daniel. "You can't, if i don't do the dare I have to take my 'punishment' and although right now the 'punishment' seems a heck of a lot better than the dare, it really wouldn't be in the long term" he said.
"Ok so what's the dare maybe we can figure a way around it" Jack offered "you know a loop-hole or something". Daniel smiled at the idea but knew it wouldn't work "I...Will you...I mean...would you... go out with me sometime, on like a date" Daniel rushed the last part out and stood waiting for Jack's inevitable responses - either he'd laugh or be so disgusted that he'd never speak to Daniel again.
"That's the dare, to ask me on a date, geez the way you were talking I thought she wanted you to do a strip act of Janets Birthday party or something" Jack laughed. Daniel stepped backwards, towards the door "no Jack that was the punishment" he said his voice slightly choked, he'd expected this but it still hurt "I gotta go" Daniel said moving out the door as quickly as possible and was down the corridor into the lift before Jack even knew what was happening.
The Infirmary - and hour later
"Carter, I got a bone to pick with you" Jack said entering the infirmary to find Sam, Teal'c and Janet Frasier all sitting in Frasiers office. "Yes Sir" she asked already knowing what was coming "What the hell was with that Dare you gave Daniel" he asked.
"Well Sir it seemed like a good idea at the time" Sam said "a good idea he comes into my office looking scared out of his wits asks me on a date and then leaves 30 seconds later looking like he's about to cry. Now what I want to know is, why?" Jack asked his voice had an edge to it and a razor sharp one at that.
"Well em sir I...what exactly happened when Daniel asked you out?" Sam questioned him "what do you mean what happened, he asked I realized what the dare was cause he'd told me you gave him a dare and then i kinda laughed cause it was darn funny him being all nervous and stuff, and then he went, said something to but I didn't quite catch what it was" Jack said, the angry looks he was receiving from the people in front of him confusing him no-end.
"You laughed at him, I can't believe you, he asks you out and you laugh at him are you completely clueless" Janet spoke up "excuse me..." Jack was cut of by Sam "you are a idiot, Sir" was added as and after thought. "You have a guy as great as Daniel who's madly in love with you and you laugh at him when he asks you out, dare or not that date would have meant more to Daniel than almost anything in the whole world" Sam was mad, as where Janet and Teal'c, Jack was just confused. "In Love with me Daniel, no way he couldn't I mean...he...I...really?" Jack asked shock clouding his thoughts.
"Really, and you probably just broke his heart into about a zillion pieces, and you dam well better fix it again or i swear you'll have all three of us to deal with". Janet said an anger in her voice Jack had only heard once before and only then because Cassie was in danger.
The Disaster
"I...oh God Danny" Jack practically ran out of the room and headed straight for Daniel's office, his on base quarters, anywhere he could think of before eventually asking the guards if they had seen him. "Yes Sir left about and hour and a half ago, didn't look so great when he left, i figured he must be sick or something" the guard said. Jack didn't answer before he headed straight for his car and drove like a wild man heading down the mountain.
The first thing he noticed was smoke but as he got closer he could see a car which was on fire, a car he recognized "Daniel" he yelled jumping form his car as soon as the car stopped, getting himself killed wouldn't help Daniel. Pulling his cell from his jacket he called up to the mountain informing them of the accident and calling for medical help before moving closer to the car.
He could smell petrol and knew the car was gonna blow before to long "Daniel" he called again but with no response. Within minutes there was a truck load of men and the base ambulance on the road. "I tried calling to him, there was no answer, the car looks like it ready to blow" Jack said to the General when he got out of the truck.
**BANG**
The car went up in flames a huge fire ball reaching up into the sky Jack turned running towards the car "Daniel" he screamed out at the top of his voice, only Teal'c was able to hold him back. "Daniel, Daniel" he repeated over and over getting quieter every time until the only noise left was Jacks' sobbing as he watched his friend's car burn, and his life end.
Back in the base - Infirmary
"He's sedated for now but he's in deep shock" Janet said softly to the small group of people in the room, seeing Daniel's car go up like that had torn them all apart but Jack most of all. "Dam that Dare" Sam was half crying and yet trying not to "it's not your fault Sam, you can't blame yourself" Janet said hugging her friend and giving her strengh as she took some in return.
"It is the fault of no-one, DanielJackson would not wish you to blame yourself" Teal'c spoke his voice soft betraying that even thought he appeared calm he was hurting as much as the rest of them. "I know" Sam said "what are we gonna do about the Colonel?" she asked. "I don't know that we can do anything, quite frankly from the way he is right now i'd say he's given up on everything." Janet spoke "I don't think there's any clinical proof for this but if its possible to die from a broken heart, i'd say we may well lose the Colonel as well" she said tears in her eyes as she looked at her superior officer, her friend asleep on the bed, eyes red from crying, and looking for all the world like a little lost child.
On the Side of the Mountain
"Owww" Daniel Jackson stirred, he hurt everywhere, and if he didn't hurt everywhere he hardly knew it because the parts that did hurt, hurt so much they made everything else seem sore as well. It was dusk and Daniel tried moving but his leg appeared to be broken and he had to have fallen a pretty large distance from the car because he couldn't see it anywhere and there was no-body on the road that he could tell.
Trying to lift himself up proved to difficult and eventually Daniel settled to half crawling half sliding up the mountain to the light of the road he could see in the distance. He crawled for half an hour before he became so tired he couldn't move any further and decided to stop for just a few minutes, but it became a few hours as he fell asleep almost immediately, only to be woken by the sound of footsteps.
Daniel was quiet, the base patrols normally didn't comedown this far and he had no idea who or what it might be so he kept quite and laid his head low. "I'm gonna miss him you know" a voice said a familiar voice but he just couldn't place it. "He was always really nice to everyone, never had a bad word to say and if he did he never said it" the voice said again "yeah that was Doc Jackson for you, hey aren't we of our normal route" another voice asked "so we are we better head back up" the first voice spoke again, by now Daniel had recognized the voices as those of Captain Kyle and Lt Alastair.
"Help" he called out his voice week, he had lost blood allot from what he could tell, no reply came, taking a deep breath he tried again "Help Me" he called. "Hey did you hear something?" Alastair asked. "Help" Daniel called again, "there, you hear it sound like, but it could be, could it" Alastair said disbelief in his voice. "Dr Jackson" Lt Kyle called out into the dark "I'm over here" Daniel managed to call out again a little louder. "Hold on we'll be right there, call the mountain get help down here now" Kyle ordered as he moved closer to where the voice of Jackson had come.
He found Jackson quickly enough but was it quick enough to save his life. He had a cut on his head that looked bad, and a number of other cuts and bruises plus the broken leg and from the large black area on his chest where the T-shirt he'd been wearing was ripped it looked like internal bleeding. "Hold on Doc just gotta wait for back-up and then we'll get you sorted out ok" Kyle said to the semi-conscious man.
In minutes there were people every where and with in ten minutes Daniel Jackson was lying in the infirmary with Janet Frasier working furiously to save his life. O'Neill was still out for the count and had no idea about what was going on around him, and although she hated to admit it, Daniel would probably not make it and it would be better that the Colonel didn't have to go through that for a second time in one day.
Four hours later
"How is he Doctor" Hammond asked his texan accent softened as he looked at the pale man lying before him. "He's stable, for now but I don't know how long it'll stay like that, quite frankly Sir I don't think there is much chance he'll make it" Janet said tears filling her already red eyes. "Daniel" the voice was from Jack O'Neill who was waking up over the other side of the infirmary.
Carter moved over to Jack's bed "Sir, we found him, Daniel he wasn't in the car he'd be thrown free and had fallen down the mountain and few hundred metres", Sam said as soon as Jack became awake enough to understand. "Where, where is he?" Jack asked as soon as his vocal cords started obeying him. "Over there" Sam answered pointing in the general vicinity of Daniel's unconscious form "but Sir, its not looking great, Janet, well she doesn't know if...well he's not out of the wood yet and he still might..." Sam couldn't quite bring herself to say it. "Die" Jack whispered the word finishing Sam's sentence.
"Colonel O'Neill" Janet Frasier said as she came over to his bed "how are you feeling?" she asked. "Like the one person I love more than anything in the world is lying less than 10 metres away dying" he answered his voice strained and low. "If you promise to take it easy I can sit you in a chair over beside him" Janet offered and Jack nodded, "just let me be near him, I promise i'll be good" he said solemnly.
3 Weeks Later
"Hey Colonel, how's he doing?" Sam asked coming in and sitting beside Jack. Three weeks since the accident and Jack hadn't left the infirmary, he spent the days sitting beside Daniel watching, waiting for any sign of movement and nights he slept on another bed less than a metre away. "Same as yesterday, but Janet says his lungs are healed and she wants to try and see if he can breath on his own, told me their gonna try it later" Jack informed her. "Well that's good right, I mean if he can breath on his own it'll mean he's got a better chance of recovery" Sam offered trying to sound up-beat, but really just sounded annoying.
'Jack' the name went through Daniel's mind, 'I'm here Jack' he tried to say it out loud but he couldn't. 'Please hear me Jack' he begged knowing it was no good. He could hear Sam and Jack talking and decided to concentrate the the words.
"If I lose him Sam...I think I might die too" Jack's voice was low and filled with pain and fear as he spoke. "I know, but Daniel he's strong and as long as you let him know your here that you love him and think he'll be all right" Sam said. Daniel smiled and some how someway that smile made it to his face. "Daniel" Jack jumped up and stood over Daniel looking for a sign that he really had smiled not just that it had been his imagination. "Ja..." the rest of the word died in his mouth as he licked his lips trying and failing to get any moisture to them.
Sam handed Jack a glass of water sitting by the bed and he brought it slowly to Daniel's mouth "I'll get Janet" Sam said disappearing around the corner to find their Doctor. "Jack...I'm..." Jack stopped him "sush Danny its ok we'll talk when your better, don't worry" Jack cooed him softly brushing his hand across Daniel's cheek. "Your gonna have to move a minute Colonel" Janet ordered and he complied, he needed to know Daniel was gonna be Ok and Janet was the only one who could tell him that.
"Well you seem to be recovering nicely, although I think you'll be here for a week or so yet" Janet told Daniel smiling glad to see he was awake at last, the past three weeks had caused a lot of tension and frayed nerves.
Three Days later
"Janet please i'm ok and besides Jack is gonna let me stay at his place till i'm fully recovered, I just wanna get out of here" Daniel pleaded. "If I let you out, you have to promise me you'll take it easy" Janet said a warning look on her face and Daniel knew he'd won. "He will, believe me he will if I have to chain him to the bed" Jack O'Neill said from his place on the other side of Daniel's bed. Janet chuckled at the mental image and gave Jack a mock look of warning "no chains, at least not yet ok" she said her eyes smiling widely.
Jacks house - two hours later
"Ok Danny boy lets get you settled" Jack said as he helped the younger man sit down on the King sized bed Jack had in his bedroom. "Jack I can't take your bed room the guest room is fine" Daniel argued "No its not, now your sleeping in here and that's final, besides Janet said she's coming to visit tomorrow and I want to impress her with my wonderful caring nature" Jack's eyes were filled with mocking and laughter as he spoke and Daniel found himself smiling.
"So what am I suppose to do here all day?" Daniel asked, he'd just spent a boring time in the infirmary and now to be bored here as well would be twice as bad. "TV" Jack said sliding two doors back on a large cabinet to reveal a Wide screen TV with Video. "Or, and if you tell Janet about this i'll kill you, or more precisely come back from the grave and haunt you, seeing as she'd kill me, you can do these" Jack said pulling out a small case with several translation files and a variety of other things the Daniel had previously been working on at the base. Just seeing Daniel's face light up was worth the possibility of death by Doctor Frasier. "Thank you Jack" Daniel said his face and eyes smiling, dam that smile.
One Week Later
"OK Daniel your fit for active duty" Janet reported writing a note in his file to declare his return to work "Thanks Janet" Daniel said cheerfully jumping of the bed, and smiling at Jack. "Guess this means you get your bed back" he said missing the look of almost sadness that passed across Jacks face "Yep, one king size bed all for me coming right up" Jack joked trying to sound happy.
What had happened before the accident had not been discussed infact it was a topic that seemed to be off limits, and mostly by Jacks own insistence but tonight, tonight that would change. "Come on Daniel lets go get your rocks and shift em back to your place" Jack said moving for the exit.
The Almost Happy Ending
Jack O'Neill's house
"What's say we eat first hey Danny?" Jack asked as he and Daniel finally got into the house "Sure" Daniel agreed he was kinda hungry. "Cool, I'll go whip something up you sit down" Jack told him "I can help you" Daniel offered but Jack shook his head "No you can do as your told for once and sit sown" he mock ordered. Daniel complied sitting on the sofa.
"Dinners up" Jack called to him a half an hour later and Daniel went into the dining room to find Jacks small table covered with a white cloth, with candles burning in the middle, and a bottle of red wine in a bucket of ice of to the side.
"Well you asked me on that date but never let me answer and since I was gonna say yes i figured we could skip the embarrassment and nervousness leading up to the date and just head straight for the date" Jack supplied as he entered the dinning room with two covered plates which he uncovered to reveal the first course of the evenings meal, little crap puffs with a special family recipe sauce.
"I...Jack the date, it was just a dare from Sam, you didn't have to do this" Daniel said his face flushed and his voice sweaky. "Yes Daniel I did, see I got this problem..." Jack paused "there's this guy and he's smart and funny and so sweet and gentle, but at the sametime he's brave and strong not to mention irritating and infuriating, and... I love him, I love you Daniel... I love you" Jack said watching Daniel's face closely for his reaction.
Daniel turned and ran heading for the door only to be stopped by Jacks hand on his arm. "I let you run once Danny cause I was too dumb to notice how you felt, and I almost lost you, I won't let that happen again" Jack said tugging Daniel into his arms. "I... Jack...you can't love me, you can't" Daniel was crying "Yes Danny I can and I do the only thing here that shocks me is that you could ever love me, but you do, don't you Danny" a hint of pleading in Jack voice as he spoke, please let Daniel love him back was the thought he sent out to what ever God false or real maybe listening.
"Oh God Jack, I...I love you so much...I thought" Daniel fell into Jack crying, and before Jack knew it he was crying as well. "Sush Danny it's all gonna be ok now i'm here, i'm here" Jack said trying to control his own tears while comforting the young man in his arms. "I'm sorry Jack...I..." Daniel's voice was choked "No, Danny don't you dare say Sorry none of that stuff matters anymore. We love each other that's all I need to know" Jack said running his strong, capable hands down the side of Daniel's face as he moved closer to him. Daniel smiled, not the kind of smile that lit up a room but a small smile, a smile that lit up Jacks heart and soul with a joy he never thought it was possible to feel.
"Love you Jack" Daniel whispered their faces so close they were sharing the same breath. "Love you too Danny" Jack said at last closing the remaining space between brushing his lips softly against Daniel's' mouth. Jack pressed heavier and felt the pressure returned. After just seconds Daniel's tongue snaked out and ran gently across Jacks bottom lip cause a slight moan to escape him. Jack opened his mouth willingly and when he felt Daniel's tongue enter his mouth he let his own slip forward to meet it.
The kiss seemed to go on forever gentle and sweet tasting each other for the first time, playfully moving back and forth between the hot recesses of the two mouths the tongues chasing and catching each other as the fought, but not for dominance because neither was dominant they fought for a joining to stay as close as was possible.
Finally when the need for oxygen made them part the two stood eyes staring into each others souls seeing the other half of their own soul. "Danny, what's say we eat before the food gets cold" Jack suggested looking over to the table. Daniel nodded but Jacks reluctance to let him go caused a slight difficulty until Jack pulled his own chair round beside Daniel and they sat shoulder to shoulder as they ate. The conversation was whispered as if neither wanted to break the spell, they talked about nothing and everything, words of love passing easily between them at last.
"That was delicious" Daniel said at last as they finished over their deserts, one of Daniel's favourite things, was coffee ice cream and so Jack had taken a old Italian resipie and swapped Vanilla Ice cream for coffee making it all the more delicious, especially as he and Daniel ended up feeding it to each other in between light kisses.
"Want some Coffee?" Jack asked, Daniel nodded a yes and Jack stood "Go wait in the living room i'll be right with you" Jack ordered and went into the kitchen to make coffee, and Irish coffee at that, he really didn't like the stuff but he knew Daniel loved it so he bought some just for him.
"Here you go" Jack said handing Daniel the cup of steaming Irish Coffee before setting his own on the coffee table and going over to the CD player to put on some music, turned down low of course so as not to disturb the mood and Jack also lowered the lighting before joining Daniel on the sofa. "Thank you Jack this is great, it must have taken ages to prepare" Daniel said smiling happily as he took a drink from his coffee. Jack returned his smile "for you nothing is too good and besides Sam and Janet helped a little" he admitted reminding himself to send them both a very large bunch of flowers at the earliest convenience.
The two sat drinking the coffee keeping up the conversation form earlier until Jack couldn't take anymore and moved closer resting his head lightly against Daniel's shoulder, right now he wanted nothing more in the world than to be as close to Daniel Jackson as was humanly possible. When Daniel reached his arm around Jack, the older man snuggled in closer and put his own arms across Daniel's chest. Neither noticed but before long the two fell into a light doze both happy and content.
It wasn't very much later when the woke only 9pm but as neither felt particularly inclined to move from their comfortable position it was closer to ten when they saw fit to get up. The two stood and Daniel pulled Jack too him for tender kiss, a kiss filled with promise. "Jack we don't have to do anything tonight but can I please stay, just so I can be near you, and hold you" Daniel asked his voice soft and low. Jack smiled and taking Daniel by the hand the two made their way to Jacks bedroom.
Searching through the drawers he finally found what he was looking for "These were suppose to be your Christmas present but you may as well use them now" Jack said tossing Daniel a box which it was revealed had a pair of dark blue silk jammies with the letters of his name, written in Egyptian outlined in gold down one side on the front and again in Egyptian on the back were the words 'A Man, A scholar, A Friend'.
Daniel felt tears forming in his eyes although why he had no idea, for he had never been happier than at this moment. Jack moved over and enveloped him in a hug and the two stood holding each other like that until eventually Daniel moved to change into the present Jack had given him, going into the bathroom to do so.
When he returned Jack was already changed and lying beneath the bedcovers holding one side open for Daniel. Jack leaned over and turned of the lamp by the bed as Daniel moved closer pulling Jack into his arms, and kissing him with slow gentle movements, something Jack was sure he would never tire of. Laying down properly Daniel kept his arms around Jack as the two got comfortable. Before long both slept, peacefully in the others arms.
2am
"Daniel, No Danny, oh no please no, Daniel" Jack called out in his sleep quickly rousing his partner from sleep "Jack, JACK wake up its ok i'm here" Daniel called to him. "Daniel, I" Jack clung to Daniel desperately "I thought I'd lost you Danny, I thought I'd lost you" Jack cried as the other man ran his hands up and down his back and arms trying to offer comfort. "I'm right here Jack, I'm never gonna leave you I promise" he whispered his strong, yet soft voice whispered into Jacks hair as he held him close.
"Daniel, I don't ever wanna be without you, ever, be with me Danny please" Jack begged and Daniel knew what he was asking for. "Jack, I love you more than anything in the world and I want nothing more than to make love to you but are you sure" Daniel asked afraid partly that Jack would say No and partly that he would say yes. "I love you Danny want you to make love to me, Please Danny" Jacks voice was muffled because his head was pressed against Daniel's shoulder but Daniel heard him.
Moving back Daniel looked deep into Jacks eyes and when he saw no doubt there he moved closer again and placed his lips against Jacks, kissing all the tension away, he wanted this to be perfect, not just a tumble in the hay, no this he was determined would be perfect, the joining of not only their bodies but minds, hearts and souls as well.
Moving slightly he began kissing his way over Jacks cheeks, nose, eyes he kissed every sentiment of his lovers face. 'Does lover really describe what Jack is to me' Daniel thought as his lips trailed down and he started kissing, licking and nipping the tender flesh of Jacks neck, as Jacks hands wandered over his back. 'No was the obvious answer Jack was so much more he was...he was everything'. Daniel stopped and moved back away from Jack "what's wrong" came the concerned question eyes fearful, in case Daniel may have changed his mind, and didn't want to be with Jack like this.
"Nothing Jack, I just, I love you Jack" Daniel said before resuming his previous endeavour. The two men explored each others bodies with hands and mouths, searching out all the 'hot spots' on the other for future reference. When Daniel took Jacks nipple between his teeth as his hand worked over the other the older man moaned a deep gruntal sound that caused Daniel's 'Junior' to stand up and take notice. Moving down with his mouth Daniel's fingers continued to toy with Jacks already over sensitized nipples.
"Danny" Jacks moaned deeply 'please' was also heard if not said out loud, as Daniel started to get closer to his goal skipping over where Jack really wanted him to go he moved down Jacks strong legs kissing, licking and nibbling on the slightly furred flesh he found.
Daniel took pity as Jacks moans became less coherent and moved back up to his previous goal, breathing lightly on the crown of Jacks hard flesh elicited a growl from above. "Easy Jack, I want this to last" Daniel whispered loud enough for the man beneath him to hear. Slowly Daniel's tongue slipped out from between his sweet cherry lips and flicked across the head of Jacks penis. "Ohhhhhhhh" was the only response he got. Flicking again Daniel carefully took the head into his mouth suckling gently his blue eyes looking up to meet with Jacks brown as he did so.
Hearing the sounds Jack was making was driving him crazy with need and in one swift movement he sucked Jack in as deeply as he could swirling his tongue around and around everywhere he could reach with in seconds her felt Jacks sperm in his mouth and he greedily swallowed it all licking the few tendrils that escaped down Jacks now soften shaft before moving up and kissing Jack tenderly as he waited for Jack to be able to think straight again.
"You couldda warned me you know" Jack finally said "huh?" Daniel asked quizzically. "I said you couldda warned me you were so dam good at that, I mean geez Danny you nearly killed me" Jack said smirking, letting Daniel know that while it had been amazing enough that had he a week heart it probably would have killed him 'although what away to go' was Jacks thought, and also letting Daniel know that he was all right.
"I didn't know" Daniel admitted earning him a questioning look from Jack. "I've never, I mean with a guy before I never..." Daniel trailed off "I mean I read lots about it because of my studying you'd be amazed by how much sex was integrated into everyday society in some cultures they literally just stopped and did it in the street" Daniel babbled on until he noticed Jack was laughing. "Oh Danny, I'm sorry its just...I guess I figured you'd done this all before" Jack said trying to stop his laughter.

As Teal'c was heading for the Gate room Jack assumed someone was coming through the gate but when he and Teal'c arrived he found nearly the whole SGC squashed in with General Hammond at a podium in front of the gate. As the couple moved out of their embrace they were congratulated by what seemed like the whole base and then some. "Congratulations DanielJackson, Colonel O'Neill" Teal'c offered with an incline of his head, "yeah Sir, Daniel I hope you guys can finally be happy now" Sam said and Janet nodded her agreement.
