Daniel: "I've had a revelation!"

Jack: "Do tell."

Daniel: "You love me!"

Jack: "I do?"

Daniel: "Yes. I've realised – all those huggings and hair rufflings mean - you love me."

Jack: "Tell me something I don't know."

Daniel: "I'm telling - me - something I didn't know. Wow! Ok, I'll tell you something you don't know."

Jack: "Waiting here."

Daniel: "I love you."

Silence

Daniel: "Er...Jack?"

More silence

Daniel: "Hello? Anyone home?"

Jack: "Um...you said you..."

Daniel: "Love you – yes?"

Jack: "Why didn't you say something?"

Daniel: "Like – pass the salt, by the way I love you – let's go to bed?"

Jack: "You want to go to bed?"

Daniel: "No! – I mean..."

Jack: "You don't want to go to bed?"

Daniel: "It was an example..."

Jack: "Of not wanting to go to bed – why not?"

Daniel: "Jack! An example of – how do I tell you I love you?"

Jack: "So, why didn't you tell me something?"

Daniel: "Why didn't you?"

Jack: "Um...I didn't know that you..."

Daniel: "Well, I didn't know that you..."

Jack: "So, now we know."

Daniel: "Yes."

Jack: "What do we do now?"

Daniel: "I don't know. This is real life, not my fantasy."

Jack: "Fantasy?"

Daniel :( embarrassed) "Well you know – in my fantasy we're sorta hot and sweaty."

Jack: "Um – hot and sweaty?"

Daniel: "Yes."

Jack: "Sounds good."

Daniel: "Yeah. But how do we get there from here?"

Jack: "Don't know – but hot and sweaty – sounds like a plan."

Daniel: "Maybe we should kiss...?"

Jack: "Um – kiss?"

Daniel: "You know – kiss!"

Jack: "Yeah. I know what kiss is."

Daniel: "Well, I guess – if you love someone, you want to kiss them."

Jack: "I guess."

Daniel: (sighing) "It wasn't this difficult with Sha're."

Jack: "Nor with Sarah."

Daniel: "It's because we're guys."

Jack: "You don't want to kiss me because we're guys?"

Daniel: "That must be it."

Jack: "You say you love me, but you don't want to kiss me?"

Daniel: "I didn't say I didn't want to – just that it is difficult."

Jack: "Because we're guys?"

Daniel: "Oh. For heaven's sake – come here...

Plants a swift kiss on Jack. ...That's a kiss."

Jack :(shaking head) "Oh, no-no...Danny. That's not a kiss...

Draws Daniel to him, holds his face and languorously kisses him. ...That's a kiss."

Daniel: "Wow!"

Jack: "Yeah!"

Daniel: "I need a coffee."

Jack: "What?"

Daniel: "My legs are shaking."

Jack :(smirking) "It always had that effect. Put your head Between your knees."

Daniel: "I shall do no such thing."

Jack: "Ok. Shall I put my..."

Daniel: "Jack!!"

Jack: "Do you really want coffee?"

Daniel: "No – I want to go to bed."

Jack: "At last!!!"
